Help 8.1 Troubleshooting - Timed out message while using the website

Introduction: A timed out error message while using the website can occur for a couple of reasons. a) You either took too long on a webpage when logged onto the members area or b) you do not have cookies enabled in your web browser. This has nothing to do with putting in an incorrect password when logging onto the members area. Timeout error should not occur in the non-members area but if it does then contact the webmaster with the details.

If you were successfully logged into the members area and the timeout occured while in the members area, then this is normal operation. Just simply log back on again. It is necessary to implement a time out limit to prevent unauthorised access to members personal information should your computer left unattended for a long period of time and forget to logout, especially for site administrators. We don't want unauthorised access to mess up any club data such as members details or calendar either. It does expose the website to being hacked unnecessarily if you don't log out when finished with the website..

This help document deals with failure to logon due to a time out message. This is a problem is most likely an issue with the setup on your device, but it can occur as a result of a website programming error.

There are three suggestions you should try:

A good device cleanup utility is CCleaner from Piriform Software can be found in the Google playstore for Android Devices or download from https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download for Windows computers. Its a good free untility to cleanup your system including removing junk from your devices storage.

c) Try another type of device and web browser and see if it works there. If it does work then the offending device or web browser is at fault. If you have the same problem on another device please inform the webmaster of what device you are using and the web browser used.

If none of the three suggestions above work, then use 'Contact Us' page in the non-members area to send the details to the webmaster.
