Esk to Toogoolawah Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (Return) Distance: 19.33km each way, Difficulty: H1.0 

Description: 

From the Esk Railway station ride to Toogoolawah Railway Station. The ride took place on Saturday morning so we got to see the Toogoolawah Markets and have coffee there. Very gentle gradient, fairly flat on mostly grasslands and a little gravelly track. Ride lead by Judee O'Leary Saturday 14th May, Mapped by Ian Jope's Samsung Smartphone.

Esk to Coominya Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (Return) Distance: 24.04km each way, Difficulty: H1.5 

Description: 

From the Esk Railway station ride to Coominya Railway Station. The ride took place on Sunday so we had takeaway coffee at Coominya then onto Bellevue Homestead on Cnr Coominya Connection Rd/Bunny Rd for wine before returning to Esk. Mostly uphill getting to Coominya, with 4 difficult railway culverts to navigate on route. Ride lead by Judee O'Leary Sunday 15th May, Mapped by Ian Jope's Samsung Smartphone.

Start: Wynnum (Brisbane UBD 143 F10)

Wynnum to Thorneside Aquatic Paradise Park Distance: 16.8km (33.6km Return), Difficulty: H1.0 

Description: 

 A nice relaxing bike ride around the foreshore between the car-park at the end of 483 North Wynnum Rd Wynnum through to Manly and Thorneside Aquatic Park using the coastal cycleway. Stop for coffee at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on the way to Thorneside, with Fish and Chips at the Barramunda Boys Fish Shop in Manly on the return leg. Mostly cycle-path shared with Pedestrians so the trip is a little slow at a pace of 10km/hr. Ride led by Dennis & Kerri McDonald, Mapped on Ian Jope's Samsung Phone 3rd August 2014.

Start: Sedgman Oval 1, Opposite 50 Sylvan Rd Toowong (Brisbane UBD 21B12)

Toowong to Teneriffe Ferry Terminal Return - Brisbane CBD Explorer Distance: 34.4km, Difficulty: H0.5 

Description: 

Meet at Sedgmans Oval Carpark (Opposite 50 Sylvan Rd, Toowong) to cycle the Inner City Bicentennial Cycleway to Newstead via Botanic Gardens, Goodwill Bridge, Story Bridge to Teneriffe Terminal at New farm / Newstead.  Return via Story Bridge, Docklands and Southbank, detour City Centre edge and back to Regatta Hotel for a Beer at Cnr Sylvan Rd / Coronation Drive overlooking the river. Cedarton to Woodford Breakfast Ride Return Distance: 31.6km, Difficulty: H1.0 

Description: 

Meet at Cedarton for a relaxing easy ride to Woodford on quiet country roads. Have breakfast / morning tea at CJ's Bakery in the main street of Woodford before returning to Cedarton the save way using Old Cove Rd and Cove Road. Mostly sealed with the exception of a couple of Kilometres near the end of Cove Rd at the Commissioner Road end. Ride led by Judee O'Leary 10/4/2014, Mapped by Ian Jope  Samsung GPS.

Start, Opposite Store at 17 Scott Street Benarkin (UBD Unknown)

Benarkin to Moore Rail Trail Ride Distance: 26.0km, Difficulty: H1.5 

Description: 

Meet at the free camping ground opposite the general store at 17 Scott Street Benarkin then ride the rail trail for about 17 kilometres to Linville pub for lunch. Return to the road and cycle for the remaining 7 kilometres to the Moore Police Station where we return back to Benarkin by car. Due to the rough nature of the track, expect an average speed of around 12km per hour. Riders will later pick up their bikes from the garage behind the police station in Moore. Start, End Muir St, Cnr Douglas St Blackbutt (Roy Emerson/Rail Trail Museum) (UBD Unknown)

Blackbutt to Linville (Via Old Esk Rd and Rail Trail) Mountain Bike Only - Distance: 32.46km, Difficulty: H2.5 

Description: 

From the start of the Rail Trail at Blackbutt (Roy Emerson Museum - Tennis Great Cnr Muir and Douglas St), head towards Morris St, Bowman Rd, Right into Crumpton Dr (Note it deviates left then right) and follow it to the very end where it veers left and becomes gravel and Staines Rd (Make sure you turn left to continue into Staines Rd and not go right into Gibson Rd), Follow the trail for a few KM to old Esk Rd and travel past the timbermill where it becomes the heritage trail again. It does later rejoin the old Esk Rd again and end ups back on the rail trail near the Benarkin Bellbirds information sign. Follow the rail trail for about 10Km back to Linville. Start, Ningi Community Hall (Brisbane UBD 51 L12)

Ningi to Bribie Island Return Distance: 47.97km, Difficulty: H0.5 

Description: 

Meet at the carpark in Ningi Community Hall Cnr Rita Ave and Rinald St and follow the main cycle path over to Bribie Island. Head north along the track from Bellara to Pacific Harbour, Banksia Beach then through the Bribie Island National Park to Bongaree. From there head along the coastline to Red Beach then head east towards Woorim for a Swim and Lunch. Return via the Cyclepath along First Ave Woorim back to Bongaree then return via the coastal Cyclepath to Ningi. Ride led by Dennis & Kerri Mcdonald 02/11/2014. Start, Scarness Caravan Park CHarlton Esplanade (UBD Unknown)

Hervey Bay Rail Trail Scarness to Depot Cafe, return via Urangan Pier Distance: 31.96km, Difficulty: H0 

Description: 

From the Scarness Caravan Park, ride north to Queens Rd and follow it until you reach the intersection of East St where the Rail trail starts. Pedal until you reach Woolworths (They had to build it right on the rail trail didn't they?). Go through the Wollies Carpark to rejoin the track on the other side. You will see a Big Whale monument where there is a museum of the area (Cnr Old Maryborough Rd). Follow the track Parrallel to Main St and cross over Harbour Dr. It Veers and follows Uraween Rd. At Fraser Shores Medical turn left into Madsen's Rd and follow it for a Few KM where it becomes a T intersection. Turn Right into Chappel Rd and follow it for a couple KM where you will see a Cafe called "The Depot" opposite the Caltex. Return back the same way to intersection of East St and Queens Rd, but instead just follow the Rail Trail to Urangan Pier parallel to Harbour Dr. If you time it right you will see the markets at Urangan Pier. Travel a few KM back to starting point at Scarness via the Charlton Esplanade.  Ride led by Terry Lyons 16/11/2016. Mapped by Ian Jope's Samsung GPS..
